It is mostly set the forest because the father kept on taking them there or it is in the house because Hansel and Gretel went back home by leaving a trail.

What was the problem?

The stepmother was angry and said there are too many mouths and then told the dad to take them away and the dad took them to the forest where it is cold and really dark at night.

What was the solution?

The stepmother died and they all lived happily ever after!

What was the Moral of the Story?

Talk with your family when you have problems.

My favourite part of the story was?

When Gretel gave her a tremendous push and slammed the oven door shut.
