My cousins birthday!

On Saturday we celebrated my little cousins birthday. I felt so excited because I wanted to eat cake. In a loud voice I shouted "WOW" as soon as I saw the big beutiful cake.

My cousin is a girl and she turned 3 on Saturday. As soon as she blew her candles that were on the cake, she started to clap and we sang the happy birthday song in english and samoan. It was time for us to cheer and we said "hip hip horray, hip hip horray, hip hip horray."

We ate the cake after we cheered and we said in samoan "Manuia" which is "Take care". We started to eat and when we all took first bite, our faces looked so so suprised because of the prettyness, awesomeness and tasteness of the cake! We were happy that we got to go to her birthday.

My favourite part of my cousins birthday was eating the TASTFULL cake!!!

Practices re crafting Aldora's paragraph.

Aldora’s Cross Country Recount
Today we practices refracting a piece of writing. The first paragraph belongs to Aldora and the second is mine.

“On your marks, get set, “Bang” shouted Mr Burt. Off we went trying hard not to bang into each other. I was already muddy. Luckily I didn’t slip like some other girls did at the start line.

“On your marks, get set!’’ Bang! off we went, trying hard not to  bump into each other. Mud was everywhere, all over my face and covering my shoes. Watching my friends fall over, I was laughing very loud!

Liu Xiang

Before the race I was so nervous because I thought that I might not even win. "Oh man my country is going to be so mad if I lose" I thought in my head.  My country was expecting me to win because I am the world record holder.

I felt embarrassed because I crashed over on the first hurdle in front of my country and family. "Hmm I wonder what my country is going to do to me?" I said to myself. My Achilles tendons was felling so painful I could not even walk but hop.

Wanting to leave I was thinking to go out of the stadium. Hopping back to the track I kissed the hurdle because I am going to retire. Finally I got help from others. 

Usain Bolt-Best runner

As the race was about to begin, Usain Bolt was balanced on the blocks. Visualising the race, he was focused and ready. Can he WIN!!!

Flying down his lane lightning bolt was filled with great strength. Focused on the finish, he was fired up to win the gold.

As Usain blitzed the race, the crowd went wild!!! What is his future??? With pride in his achievements, Bolt represented Jamaica.

Big thank you to Panasonic-Camera

As we were doing assembly a man called Paul from Panasonic came. Paul came to give room 13 a video camera that we won for the storyboard because they do Panasonic competitions every year. A group of people in our class have worked very hard on the
storyboard competition.

We were so happy that we won the camera and I would give a BIG thank you to Paul and Panasonic. It was a generous prize to win.

In Etension we have been learning about Olympics, and our homework was to draw some dmedals. Well here are my medals that I have drew on the paper that we had been given. I also drew on the computer. I have worked very hard on it and I have never stop doing it until it was finished.
